Seth Herman rejoined the Bay View Funding team during October 2004 and is currently Senior Vice President of Sales, National Sales Manager, marketing and sourcing new business for the Los Angeles, California office and managing the Bay View Funding sales team. He brings over 20 years of factoring experience including but not limited to credit analysis, portfolio management, underwriting and business development. Prior to joining the company he served with Summit Financial for over five years, most recently as Senior Vice President and Western Regional Sales Manager. Prior to that, he was Vice President of Sales for Bay View Funding, Vice President for NationsBanc Commercial Corp. (merged with Bank of America) and an Assistant Vice President with Heller Financial, Inc. Mr. Herman graduated with an M.B.A. from The Pepperdine University and received his B.S. in Finance from The Ohio State University. Mr. Herman is an active member of The Commercial Finance Association, The Textile Professional Club, as well as attending other industry groups.

William "Bill" Elliott has worked in the Factoring and Commercial Finance industries for twenty eight years, having spent the majority of his career with large institutions such as Heller Financial and The CIT Group. Most recently, he served for five years as President of Rexford Funding, a factoring company that was acquired by Bay View Funding in November, 2009. Mr. Elliott's accomplishments have been varied. He has served on implementation teams that installed a new proprietary factoring platform as well as an EDI interface platform. He signed and managed one of the largest transactions ever funded in the factoring industry. He was a member of a team that restructured the SBA lending unit of a commercial lender, turning it into the nation's number 1 SBA lender the following year. At Rexford Funding, he oversaw considerable growth over a five year period. Mr. Elliott has a BA in Economics from the University of Notre Dame. He lives in Southern California with his wife Karen and two children.

John Basich, Vice President, Regional Sales Manager

John Basich joined Bay View Funding in November 2009, and is Vice President of Sales sourcing new business throughout the U.S market He began his commercial finance career spending his first five years at Summit Financial Resources, two years at Riviera Finance and three years with Rexford Funding. Mr. Basich graduated from San Diego State University with a B.S in Business Finance. Mr. Basich is a member of the Textile Professional Club, Commercial Finance Conference of California, Textile Professional Club and other greater Los Angeles based groups.

Steve Barthol heads up Bay View Funding's sales in the territory including and surrounding the Central States in the Heartland. Steve has been employed in the commercial finance business for over 25 years, working in factoring as well as other specialties. He graduated in 1973 from the University of Missouri, Columbia. Prior to that Steve served six years with the United States Marine Corps.

Richard Olson, Vice President, is located at Bay View Funding's corporate headquarters in San Mateo, CA. where he manages BVF's business development efforts in the Northern California, Northern Nevada, Utah and Colorado territory.

Richard joined Bay View Funding in 2007 bringing with him more than forty years of experience in the financial community. His career in banking, which began at Wells Fargo in 1968, lasted twenty-five years before he entered the factoring and asset-based lending field where he worked with AeroFund Financial and then Capital Associates for the past fifteen years.

Richard has enjoyed developing lending relationships with emerging businesses and addressing their growing financial needs. His many years of experience in financing and contacts in the financial community have served him and his customers well.

Haze Walker, Vice President, Regional Sales Manager

Haze Walker, Vice President, has recently joined the Bay View team with the acquisition of Rexford Funding. She brings to Bay View over 22 years of experience with Banking and Specialty financing solutions. Her expertise includes Sales and Marketing, Account Management, while maintaining Customer Service and quality control.

Haze has developed strategic alliances and launched nationwide marketing plans, developing a strong name in the marketplace. She is strategic as a leader in the commercial financing arena, where she focuses on working with small to mid-sized businesses , helping them with their financial needs. She consistently builds strong customer relationships, partnerships, and alliances throughout the state and country.

Haze is currently serving as a committee member for the Risk Management Association and is on the Board of Directors for the Turnaround Management Association.
